Once a group of frogs were hoping contentedly in a forest, when suddenly two of them fell into a deep pit. All of the others frog gathered around to see what could be done to help the two frogs who fell in the pit.

When they saw how deep the pit was, the rest of the dismayed group. group agreed that it was hopeless and told the two frogs in the pit that they should prepare themselves for their fate.

Unable to accept that fate, the two frogs began to jump with all their energy. Some of the frogs shouted into the pit that it was hopeless.

The other frogs continued shouting, that they should save their energy and give up.

Finally, one of the two frogs accepted the calls of his fellows. Tired and disheartened, lay down at the bottom of the pit.

The other frog continued to jump with all the energy he had, his companions once again discouraged his fate and told him to accept his fate. The frog jumped harder and harder and finally jumped so high that he came out of the pit.

Amazed, the other frogs asked him “ Why did you continue jumping when we told you it was impossible?”

Then the frog explained to them that. he was deaf and when he saw their gestures and shouting, he thought they were cheering him up.
